Fundamentals of Digital Design
Spring 2024 - Dartmouth College
In my Fundamentals of Digital Design class, I delved into core concepts and strategic frameworks essential to modern graphic design. Through diverse projects, I honed skills in contrast, hierarchy, figure/ground, shape language, Gestalt principles, color theory, logo design, typography, user interface page design, and motion graphics.
I explored figure/ground relationships, mastered color theory for emotive impact, and honed typography skills for clarity and personality. With user interface design, I optimized user experiences, balancing aesthetics and functionality. Motion graphics projects showcased my ability to blend storytelling with dynamic visuals.
Deliverables in my portfolio exemplify these principles, each reflecting a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of design fundamentals.
